About Me

Hey, friends! I'm a writer and narrative designer currently working with FlatNine Games on Letter Lost. Before FlatNine, I was a newcomer to the games industry, but to be honest, now that I'm here it feels like everything in my life was building up toward a career in game narratives. For example...

  • Like many writers, I started writing stories the second I physically learned how to write.

  • As a teenager, I got into text-based role-playing and founded a Percy Jackson-themed role-play forum where I was basically a combination community manager and dungeon master. And it became waaaaay more successful than I was prepared to handle!

  • In college, I got into transmedia storytelling. I wrote, produced, directed, edited and released a 50 episode web series, complete with transmedia elements where the viewers could interact with the characters on social media! (This one was not as successful...)

  • After college, I applied my writing and video production skills as a content marketer, where I learned to distill my creative ideas down to their most crucial parts and pitch them effectively to stakeholders.

  • I also spent some time as a software engineer, so I can write if statements and for loops in my sleep, and I know my way around a GitHub repo.

  • And last but not least, I've played and GMed a truly ridiculous amount of Dungeons & Dragons and other tabletop RPGs.

My contract with FlatNine is finite, so I'm looking for my next gig. Please reach out if you think we could be a good fit for each other!

Meet my dog, Calvin!
